GrayMatter Networks acquires a stake in Camel Connect, company rebrands as GrayMatter Networks to deliver next-generation guest communications

GrayMatter Networks has acquired a stake in Camel Connect, a newly founded distributor of hotel PBX solutions. As part of the acquisition, Camel Connect will rebrand and operate under the GrayMatter Networks name and combine operations.

The rebrand signals a major step forward in unifying advanced guest communications technology under a single brand. At the core of the GrayMatter Networks offering is BrainBox, a software-based PBX designed for The Hospitality market. Integrated with a high-quality global voice network, virtual and human guest service agents, and multi-channel messaging capabilities, GrayMatter Networks enables hotels to connect with guests on their terms, before, during and after check-in — by phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email, webchat, and other messaging channels.

“This rebrand represents a significant milestone,” said Christoffer Svalstedt, Managing Director APAC of GrayMatter Networks, previously Camel Connect.
“By bringing together PBX, AI, global voice, and multi-channel guest engagement under the GrayMatter Networks brand, we can now provide hotels with a single, future-ready platform that blends technology with genuine hospitality. ”

“Our investment in Camel Connect and this rebrand reflect our strong commitment to the Asia Pacific region,” said David Maayani, CEO of GrayMatter Networks.
“We see enormous potential for growth and innovation, and together we will deliver a unified communications solution that sets a new global standard for hotel guest engagement.”

With the acquisition and rebrand, GrayMatter Networks is poised to expand its global reach, providing hotels with the tools to streamline operations, reduce costs, and elevate the guest experience.
